Christie expands the Extreme Series with a 49” ultra-narrow bezel model

The FHD493-XE display has a distance of 1,8 mm from bevel to bevel which makes it ideal for applications that require a video wall with imperceptible separations.

Christie has expanded its line of LCD flat panels with the addition of the FHD493-XE to the Extreme Series. 49 inches, a model with an ultra-narrow bezel 1,8 mm, advanced gloss and color homogenization, and Phoenix EP compatibility. An ideal display for 24-hour operation×7 high performance in applications that require a video wall with imperceptible separations.

The Christie Extreme Series ensures homogeneity of brightness and color across the entire display and the calibration of each panel, eliminating many of the common image adjustments when installing video walls.

Its integrated electronics allow it to be scaled to configuration 10×10 and 4K and transport of multiple streams for up to four panels. Besides, Smart Light Control makes it possible to adjust the brightness of each panel to achieve uniformity of the video wall and constant performance throughout its useful life.

Via an OPS slot, The FHD493-XE is compatible with the Christie Phoenix EP integrated processing solution, installable directly on the display to process network sources and decode and manage video and data sources on multiple panels from this manufacturer.
