Maurizio Rota, president EsprinetMaurizio Rota has been appointed president of the Esprinet Group, wholesaler of IT technology and consumer electronics in Italy and Spain, succeeding Francesco Monti, who has led the company since its formation.

Born in 1957, following his early professional experience as a sales supervisor for companies in the information technology industry, in 1986 founded Micromax, holding the position of president of the company. Until 1999 developed and consolidated it, focusing on the relationship with the most important manufacturers and contributing to the decisive work of implementing the company's business strategy.

He collaborated in the formation of Esprinet in the year 2000, with the merger of the Celo companies, Micromax y Comprel, holding the position of managing director and, later, as vice president and chief executive officer.

Maurizio Rota becomes president of a Group with 3.200 million euros of turnover, which has 1.247 employees, a portfolio of 700 brands and more 57.000 products available in 130.000 square meters of warehouses managed for a network of 36.000 clients and 800 suppliers.
