Zytronic and Cryptera integrate PIN into PCT touch screens to interact securely
New Zytronic PCT touchscreens support CryptoTouch Unattended, the new PIN Transaction Security for secure and authenticated payments at digital kiosks, cashiers, etc.
Called CrytoTouch Unattended and incorporated in the latest version of touch screens Zytronic, multinational company specialized in the development of touch sensors and projected capacitive technology PCT and MPCT, supports secure applications and transactions with the introduction of Transaction Security PIN, developed in collaboration with Cryptera, specialist in secure payment technologies.
This system is available in any Zytronic touch sensor design., between 10 y 24 diagonal inches, so that authenticated payments can be handled securely and without the need for a mechanical encryption keyboard (EPP), via touch screen at ATMs, kiosks and other payment terminals.
Solution includes an encrypted touch controller and Secure Touch sensor, Designed to meet PCI 3.x and EMV requirements. Specifically, CryptoTouch connects with a secure chip, Touchless PIN or card reader to enable offline PIN verification support.
Zytronic PCT touchscreens with CryptoTouch Unattended have already been successfully used in ATMs of a European bank, and they are currently the only ones on the market of this size with this technology.
Brian Schleisner, vp.
