In this nightclub a sound system has been installed that includes two CDD15 with two CSX218 subwoofers on the dance floor, four CDD6 on the first floor, another four in the second and four more and a CSX112 sub in the rooftop cafe.
Prodjmedia has installed a complete CCD and CSX system of Martin Audio at the Lyra nightclub in Lima. Founded by Fernando Vidal and Arturo Dyer, Lyra features local and international DJs in the main room and rooftop bar/dance floor. “They wanted to create an environment without compromises in terms of sound quality, so the first option was Martin Audio”, explains Renzo Silva, CEO of Prodjmedia.
The sound system includes two Martin Audio CDD15s with two CSX218 subwoofers on the dance floor, four CDD6 on the first floor, another four on the second floor and another four more and a CSX112 sub on the rooftop cafe.
The speakers are powered by MA 2.8Q, MA 3.0 and MA 5.2K amperios. A DX0.5 loudspeaker management system is used to control sound throughout the venue.
“There were some challenges in terms of acoustics because most of the surfaces in the club are brick and mortar with an industrial finish which can be a big problem sound-wise., but we managed to calibrate it to eliminate those problems. The club has two floors with access to the main room and we were able to correct the delays to provide optimal sound quality for the boxes and bar. For roof system, We were able to control the sound in the space so that neighbors couldn't complain about excessive noise. The DX0.5 was crucial for the management of all the speakers”, Renzo continues.
