When the hotel casino Golden Nugget in Atlantic City decided to install a sports betting room near the entrance, The Sportsbook, design a space that encourages visitors to “play, watch and win”. With this objective it has opted for the Led visualization solutions of Absen and the processors of Analog Way.

The room can accommodate more than a hundred people seated and has several large format screens and monitors that broadcast live sporting events, as well as statistics and various information about betting.

Tom Knauss, president of KMK Technologies and CTS-D Certified Specialist at Chappaqua (New York) and Monroeville (New Jersey) led the hotel's operations and teams in charge of the new project. likewise, also provided technical assistance for the audiovisual environment of the room.

In this new betting room have been installed 84 video screens, including four Absen Led walls, that have an approximate measure of 3.65x 2,74 metre, and whose contents are powered by four NeXtage processors 08 – 4K.

Each NeXtage image processor is dedicated to an Absen Led wall, displaying content, in format 16:9 with 1080p or 1080i HD resolution, and is transmitted by cable and satellite television. Thanks to these large format screens, visitors can see sporting events with great clarity whether they are sitting on the sofas or are at any other point in the room.

“NeXtage integration and programming was very easy to implement, an aspect that was very important given the short time that was had for the execution of the project", comments Tom Knauss.

KMK oversaw the electrical connection and equipment installation work performed by golden Nugget teams. Audiovisual equipment for the project was provided by Total Video Products.
