This sensory experience has revolutionized the events sector in Madrid and is developed under the concept of table mapping. To carry it out, they use 22 1DLP laser projectors Christie DWU850-GS. These are hung vertically, in truss structures, on the roof of Espacio Harley.

Christie and WeMapping

WeMapping It is the new audiovisual experience that combines technology and haute cuisine. This is developed in Harley Space, a venue specialized in holding events, located near the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas in Madrid. Here a sensory show is offered that brings mapping to the diners' table under the concept of table mapping..

Christie and WeMappingThe project was devised by three companies eager to create an innovative and dynamic proposal so that the experience in front of a dish would be totally different at corporate events.: MICE Catering, Harley space and BMotion. In addition, we have opted for laser projection equipment from Christie for its realization.

Table mapping allows you to project any type of 3D images onto a table, changing the color and giving life to the food., to the dishes and even to the table itself. WeMapping offers a visual show based on different themes that reinforces the gastronomic experience for a maximum of 200 diners. The contents, developed by BMotion, They can be adapted ad hoc for each event and brand according to the diners., available time and format.

Christie and WeMappingBMotion is the technological partner of this great event space, taking charge of all aspects of the audiovisual project, from the design, installation and operation of equipment, to the development of videomapping content made by its digital design department, that can be fully customized.

To carry out the WeMapping experience, 22 1DLP laser projectors Christie DWU850-GS (7.500 ANSI lumens and WUXGA resolution) which are hung vertically on truss structures on the roof of Espacio Harley and which have been supplied by Charmex.

Christie and WeMapping“GS Series laser projectors give the impression that they have more power than their lamp counterparts of the same luminosity.”. Besides, since they are lampless equipment, maintenance is much easier. We also love the peace of mind that laser technology gives us in very demanding events with multiple projectors in operation”, explains Alejandro Trujillano from the BMotion Production department.

Trujillano also highlights the form factor and aesthetics of the equipment: “These are light and compact machines that have a design appropriate to care for the environment thanks to a discreet chassis. Another notable feature is integrated warping and blending, which is very interesting for complex applications, and the richness of colors and color saturation that these devices offer is also important”.

In that sense, GS Series incorporates BoldColor, a Christie-patented technology that ensures vivid, lifelike images at high brightness levels.
