Sony includes NDI technology|HX on your BRC PTZ cameras
The rotating camera, 4K tilt and zoom BRC-X400 is ideal for recording in large venues, including places of worship and event halls. A device that offers high image quality thanks to the Exmor R CMOS sensor.
Sony has presented in NAB 2019, fair that is being held in Las Vegas until 11 April, the rotating camera, tilt and zoom (PTZ) 4K BRC-X400. A compact device ideal for a range of broadcast applications ranging from studio programs to reality television, as well as for recording in large venues, including places of worship and event halls.
The BRC-X400 camera supports IP and, via optional license, is equipped with an NDI capability|HX, a technology that is included for the first time in Sony's range of PTZ cameras. It enables high flexibility for IP-based live production systems when combined with other NDI-compatible hardware or software., from anywhere on a network.

In response to our clients' requests, the BRC-X400 will be NDI compatible|HX for the first time in this range and aims to expand our IP area”, comments Norbert Paquet, Head of Product Management at Sony Solutions Europe.
The BRC-X400 offers high image quality, Natural color reproduction and 4K30p recording with minimal noise thanks to its new high-sensitivity Exmor R CMOS image sensor. The built-in high-resolution 4K lens accommodates wide-angle shots up to 70 degrees and is equipped with up to 30x zoom in 4K thanks to Sony's Clear Image zoom feature.
Another improvement offered is up to 80x zoom in Full HD with telephoto converter mode. Besides, the horizontal resolution of 1.700 TV lines (in the center) in 4K and .1000 or more TV lines in FHD (in the center) allows you to capture images with a great level of detail.
Able to seamlessly switch during live events and reality shows, The BRC-X400 features easy-to-use broadcast functions, such as Tally indicators and genlock support. The PTZ camera also comes equipped with a new scene file feature that makes setup quick and easy by allowing you to use the same menu from one camera to another..
This camera can be used with other Sony equipment, as the artificial intelligence-based video analytics solution, to the REA-C1000.
