Capital One Arena is an indoor sports venue located in Washington DC. Originally built in the late 1990s 1990, has undergone different infrastructure updates, the most recent one affected AV systems to update the restore zone.

The stadium concessionaire hired Ping HD y BrightSign to update legacy signage in establishments within the stadium.

“Capital One Arena needed an AV solution that will facilitate content management and allow them to strengthen their brand image. “BrightSign media players are essential because they allow stadium staff to synchronize content across the entire network of screens”, comments Chad Gardner, Ping HD COO.

More than 100 BrightSign LS423 media players have been incorporated into this infrastructure, made up of Samsung screens that configure the video walls of each establishment. Dynamic, eye-catching headers are displayed on multiple screens mounted end-to-end, and BrightSign players create a 'ribbon effect' (ribbon ), that seamlessly combines content across multiple screens.

This sports center is the headquarters of a number of different sports franchises, including the Washington Nationals of the National Hockey League, Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association, the Georgetown University and Washington Valor men's basketball team of the Arena Football League.

The client's main concern regarding the AV upgrade was to streamline the process of implementing video wall content and digital signage in food and beverage venues. The ease of managing content changes was the main reason the PingHD and BrightSign solution was chosen.
