Synology offers ultra-compact and secure storage with DiskStation DS419slim

This four-bay computer is compatible with 2.5” hard drives, It is the size of the palm of a hand and supports up to 20 TB raw capacity.

The new DiskStation DS419slim compact NAS that Synology just presented to the market, it offers small offices and professional users a personal storage cloud (until 20 Raw TB) in the palm of the hand, thanks to its small and compact size.

DS419slim is presented as an intelligent and reliable personal cloud that helps keep videos in order, photos and documents. With an ultra compact design (15 cm y 700 grams of weight) that supports up to four 2.5” HDD or SSD drives, DS419slim system improves flexibility in both RAID configuration and implementation. Equipped with a dual core processor, offers optimal performance (at a reading speed of more than 223 MB/s) with a consumption of only 20,28 running watts.

Synology DS419slim has two LAN ports of 1 GbE for failover and link aggregation, with flexible RAID level configuration 5/6 for four hard drives, that supports redundancy. It is also executed through DiskStation Manager, the operating system for Synology NAS devices that allows you to improve productivity at work through its multiple applications.
