Elation Paladin 'visually paints' the Toce waterfall
Designer Pierre Gèlil turned to the lighting effects of this Led wash, 24x40W and zoom 6 a 32 degrees, to offer a spectacle of great impact in this waterfall of 143 meters of fall and 60 wide.
The harmonizing elements of light and water magically came together at Toce Falls, on the shores of Lake Maggiore in the Northern Italian Alps (Toce Waterfall), during an evocative light and music show designed by Pierre Gèlil.
This was held for a special event held at the end of June and will be repeated on days 20 y 21 September. The designer resorted to the lighting effects of Elation Paladin to visually paint one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the region.
Gelil, who also works as director of the Teatro Maggiore in Verbania, I was looking for a team that would illuminate the impressive but complex location, a waterproof accessory that could withstand the mist of the falls as well as extreme weather conditions. Elation's Italian partner, Audio Effects, proposed the Paladin, a versatile multifunction LED wash with high luminosity, color rendering and IP65 housing.
Sealed against the entry of water and/or dust, the paladin, with 24x40W RGBW Led and zoom 6 a 32 degrees, It can flexibly adapt its beam to all surfaces and is particularly suitable for illuminating objects at very long distances..
Gèlil used 10 luminaires mounted in different positions for 143 meters of waterfall fall, which extends at the bottom to a width of 60 metros. By synchronizing the dynamic light show with music, the effect was of great impact.
