Located in South West London and home of the Harlequins rugby team, Twickenham Stoop stadium has completed its second phase of digital transformation, integrated by IVC Audio Visual, with the installation of multiple digital signage and IPTV solutions to offer a unique viewing experience, entertainment and communications to its fans.

As in the previous phase, IVC has worked together with those responsible for the stadium, together with PPDS – Philips Professional Display y Tripleplay, as technology partners, to create a high quality design, on schedule and within budget.

Estadio Twickenham Stoop Harlequins IVC TripleplayIn this sense, The entire digital 'heritage' of the stadium has been completely renovated; a project that also includes the boxes, salons, concourses and fan areas, etc. with the deployment of digital signage equipment throughout the venue, with a total of five video walls, equal number of large format screens, along with fifty IPTV display systems.

All new digital signage and IPTV systems are centrally managed with a CMS, in order to provide maximum impact on screens, either by zones or together, when communicating information and messages about the match and stadium services, as well as upcoming events, share your own content and that of third parties who want to promote themselves.

Besides, The renovated executive suites have been equipped with 55” individual screens and a personalized Internet Protocol television portal (IPTV) to live stream the action. The project also includes the installation of a Tripleplay low latency encoder to ensure an optimal fan experience..

Whether on the playing field or in social areas, fans can see, listen and celebrate key moments of the matches with high image and audio quality at the same time, no noticeable delays, hence the low encoder speed that IVC was able to offer using Tripleplay technology.

This project has also given the IVC team the opportunity to express their technical and creative knowledge by manufacturing custom supports for the installed screens., designed to integrate with the building structure and provide the best possible sight lines in an unconventional space.
