Legends Casino hotel transforms its event space with Elation lighting

An efficient lighting system is a fundamental part of the renovation project of the old ballroom of this North American facility into a multipurpose space.

Located in Toppenish, in Yakama City (Washington state – United States), Legends Casino Hotel and Events Center It is considered one of the best casinos and entertainment centers in the Northwest of the country., which to maintain this status and attract new clients has built a new and technologically advanced event center.

Those responsible for Legends contacted Morgan Sound, Elation Professional distributor, to help them transform the ballroom into a space to offer high-level concerts and presentations, with capacity for 1.750 personas, commissioning the design and installation of audio systems, lightning, video and scenery for this project.

With a technical system flexible enough to support touring acts, in those that have a place from comedy, pop and country to hip-hop and rock, Morgan Sound designed a Led lighting system composed of 34 luces Seven By 19IP By; 16 Rayzor 760 with moving heads; 12 Artiste DaVinci with moving heads; 10 ellipsoidal Color 5 Profile y 6 Cuepix Blinder WW2 luminaires, all from Elation.

A key aspect of the lighting system is its energy efficiency, as well as requiring less maintenance, two factors that directly translate into a significant cost reduction.

“The lighting systems are all LED to reduce energy consumption and eliminate the need to replace lamps,” explains Weeks.. Savings also extend to other areas.
