LifeSize provides with Dash the update and replacement of videoconferencing equipment

The provider of cloud video collaboration solutions LifeSize has presented the new functionalities of its cloud software for meeting rooms Dash, as well as updating your Room Controller application for compatible devices in these environments with Lifesize Dash at no additional cost.

Customers can now install Lifesize Dash on Chromebox or Windows PC-based meeting room devices (with support for Mac solutions starting 2020), to protect your hardware investments and deliver a high-quality video conferencing experience.

Each free Dash license allows businesses to register a meeting room on the Lifesize cloud service, as well as scheduled or instant group video calls with up to twenty-five participants.

Lifesize Dash customers will also benefit from free native interoperability and support for incoming calls from external SIP/H.323 meeting room endpoints

Besides, Lifesize introduces a new Room Controller app that can be used in conjunction with Dash and an Android or Apple tablet to enhance the meeting experience, as it makes it easy to control the camera and view the integrated calendar. Video conference organizers and participants will not need their laptops ,since from your mobile or tablet you can manage your meetings with the Room Controller and Dash application.
