WHEREAS 2020: Allen & Heath introduces its AHM-64 matrix processor for scalable installations
This powerful new Audio Matrix 64 processor×64 allows integrators to very quickly create systems of varying complexity, from a simple meeting room to an entire campus.
Supported by extensive scalable input and output ecosystem, Dante control and solutions, the AHM-64 matrix processor that Allen & Heath presents these days in WHEREAS 2020 It is intended for corporate environments, commercial, leisure and educational.
“We asked integrators and consultants what they expect from the next generation of matrix processors.. Scalable inputs and outputs and remote control, “Quick setup and integration with Dante were at the top of the list.”, explica Rob Clark, CEO of Allen & Heath.
AHM-64 allows integrators to very quickly create systems of varying complexity, from a simple meeting room to an entire campus. In this sense, Clark notes that this processor “checks all the boxes and is built around a 96kHz FPGA engine to deliver exceptional audio quality and low latency.”.
This Allen matrix processor & Heath, brand that sells Audio-Technica Iberia, It has twelve entrances and twelve local exits, plus a Slink expansion port, that allows connection plug and play for up to eight remote expanders from the company's Everything I/O family.
One I/O port allows adding an optional Dante card 96 kHz 64×64 to allow connection to computers within a Dante network, including DT164-W wall mount expander and DT168 portable.
Besides, This processor is supported by a wide variety of remote control options, including the entire family of PoE remote controllers and the customizable Byod control app, to create custom interfaces for multiple users and devices.
AHM system management software and flexible AHM-64 architecture facilitate quick setup. This is how Nic Beretta explains it, Allen product manager & Heath: “This processor strikes a balance between simplicity and the established latency of the fixed architecture, and the flexibility normally reserved for open architecture platforms, allowing you to handle sound management functions, notices, audio distribution, conferencing and speaker processing”.
Thanks to it, Another of its advantages is that “integrators can improve their profits by creating the ideal system more quickly and, besides, They do not need certified training to obtain excellent results with AHM-64”, Beretta says..
