L'Acoustics develops the LA2Xi 4-channel scalable amplifier×4 channels for fixed installations

The audio manufacturer L’Acoustics has developed its first amplifier focused on fixed installations – LA2Xi -, that he has shown during his recent participation in WHEREAS 2020, as a solution to enhance background music in leisure facilities, Distributed infill systems in performing arts centers, studio monitors, private auditoriums, etc.

Primarily designed to power compact L-Acoustics loudspeakers, the LA2Xi 4 amplifier×4 channels offers from four to one output, allowing you to also control medium and large format speakers, in full or reduced SPL, for various types of applications.

Configured in a 1U chassis for optimized rack space, LA2Xi places the same DSP engine as the LA12X rotary amplified controller beneath its streamlined front panel., which includes features for management, speaker protection and monitoring, as well as a comprehensive set of tools for system adjustment and calibration.

Plus AES and analog inputs, LA2Xi is Milan certified and supports AVB with seamless network redundancy, which guarantees maximum reliability.

Developed specifically for integration applications, This amplifier provides four user-assignable GPIOs and backup power from 24 V DC for DSP card, all in terminal blocks, allowing external control and monitoring, while ensuring quick recovery in the event of power loss.
