MCR implements a global work plan to maintain its activity during Covid-19

last sunday, The Government made public the Royal Decree Law 10/2020 of 29 March, through which the suspension of in-person and non-essential activities is imposed until the 9 April.

Activities considered essential include the professional activity of MCR, framed in the category “Provision of technology and communications equipment and services”.

MCR took the first measures days before the declaration of the state of alarm, in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministries of Health and Labor. In parallel, began to develop a work plan to operate normally despite the limitations of the situation.

“This plan goes far beyond teleworking – explains Pedro Quiroga, CEO of MCR – and has evolved depending on the circumstances, but it has been based at all times on two main pillars: the safety of our employees and collaborators; and commitment to our clients”. The actions undertaken by MCR have been subject to compliance with the ISO certification guidelines.

Within the framework of this global work plan, All MCR employees have the necessary means to work from home, and they have been doing so since even before the Government's recommendations arrived.. “This has been possible thanks to the fact that a large part of our staff has been working remotely for many years.”, so we have all the necessary infrastructure and experience”.

From now on, and once the MCR activity is considered “essential”, MCR will update its work plan again so that part of its staff can join their jobs. “It will be like putting the initial plan back together.”, but reinforced to preserve the health of our professionals”, explains Pedro Quiroga.
