Metrovalencia will install a new Led screen system to optimize information for travelers

The project, awarded to the company Electronic Traffic, includes about 80 Led systems for line stops 4, 6 y 8. This equipment will offer information on the passage time and will notify of incidents and recommendations.

The tram network of Metrovalencia It will have a new infrastructure of LED teleindicators that will inform travelers of the passing time of vehicles., as well as other questions related to the service, as incidents, notices or recommendations.

The Generalitat Valenciana, through Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV), has awarded this project to the company Electronic Trafic and will have an amount of 1.003.888,27 euros.

These devices will be located, in the coming months, at the stops of the lines 4, 6 y 8, that correspond to the Metrovalencia tram service, as well as in the command post, located in Valencia South. Led screens will be installed at all tram stops, a maximum of two per stop, which represents about 80 screens (teleindicators).

Within this same action, it is planned to replace the current teleindicators at the Marítimo-Serrería station with TFT screens., supports that will be responsible for disseminating various contents and expanding the current ones. These teleindicators will be linked to the 'Cyber-pass' system’ for the blind, that allows, upon prior request, that the information displayed on the screen can be heard, which will facilitate access to these contents to a greater number of people.

The planned information system collects SAE data (exploitation aid system) which is used on the Metrovalencia tram network, which will be able to notify the schedules and destinations of upcoming trams on station platforms.
