RCF deploys its audio technology at the Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces

Five hundred speakers from this manufacturer provide perfect coverage to more than 10.000 square meters of this religious complex.

The Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces (Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ) is dedicated “to 75 anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as the military exploits of the Russian people in all wars”.

Located in the Patriotic Park of the Moscow district of Odintsovsky, It is an impressive building 100 meters high, which was completed in May 2020, whose metal elements and steps come from melted Nazi weapons.

With capacity for 6.000 personas, The temple is located a few hundred meters from the nearby open-air museum, and has a surface of 11.000 m2. “The task was not easy,” says Sergey Gurin., head of development and corporate clients at Aris-. We were asked to equip the area in front of the temple with a sound reinforcement system, as well as the multimedia museum complex Memory Road with an additional system”.

A wide variety of products have been installed for the project, from fifty weatherproof P 3115T wide dispersion coaxial loudspeakers, up to more than 250 MR 33T two-way near-field speakers. Added to this are more than eighty CS 6940EN weatherproof column speakers and a hundred horn speakers, also weather resistant, HD 3216T.

The acoustic system provided by RCF works on the street, in front of the temple, and in the multimedia museum Memory Road. “It is a large scale project, but we know how to handle these challenges. We trust the system integrator Avilex and RCF supported us, as usual, with all the material we planned”, recalca Gurin.
