Panasonic Delivers Immersive Experiences with New UST Lenses for LCD Laser Projectors
ET-EMU100 zoom systems, for the PT-MZ16K series, y ET-ELU20, for PT-MZ880, They are ideal for taking advantage of the projection surface, generating shadow-free images from floor to ceiling, even in the most limited museum installation spaces, exhibitions and live events.
Panasonic has announced two new ultra-short distance zoom lenses (UST) for its LCD laser projectors with which it is possible to offer immersive and immersive visual experiences for the entertainment industry. Based on the location it will be possible to integrate the public into the action.
The new ET-EMU100 and ET-ELU20 zoom lenses are ideal for taking advantage of every centimeter of the projection surface, generating shadow-free images from floor to ceiling, even in the most limited museum installation spaces, exhibitions and live events. The first is intended for the PT-MZ16K series of projectors and will be available in August 2021, while the second has been designed for the PT-MZ880 and will be available for purchase in September.

The target projection factor of 0.330–0.354:1 (WUXGA) generates an image of 200 inches at a distance of about 1,42 metros. The space between the top of the image and the ceiling is removed, thus creating a greater visual impact.
The projector can be mounted directly on the ceiling, without the risk of the lens protruding and obstructing the view of the screen. In the rear projection, The projector can be positioned in the center of the screen to distribute brightness evenly from the center to the corners and edges.
Once placed, The projector can be easily configured thanks to flexible adjustment.
Images can be configured according to technicians' preferences, using the lens's 1.07x zoom and wide vertical lens shift range: +50%, -20%, Horizontal: +20 %, -20 % (ET-EMU100) y Vertical: +50%, -50%, Horizontal: +24%, -24% (ET-ELU20).
High-precision lens glass elements offer scratch protection and greater heat resistance. The ET-EMU100 also includes a temperature sensor that complements the active focus optimizer (AFO) of the projector, as it analyzes temperature information and automatically adjusts focus to maintain sharp images at all times.
