ISE Live & Online

Integrated Systems Events (WHEREAS) and its co-owners Avixa y give in They have decided to reinvent themselves and change format, replacing the fair that was going to be held in Barcelona, through virtual/in-person meetings that will take place in four European cities. The great face-to-face fair in Barcelona moves to 2022.

Under the name ISE Live & Online events have been scheduled in Barcelona, Munich, Amsterdam and London; backed by a comprehensive digital offering powered by Cisco.

The CEO of Integrated Systems Events, Mike Blackman, explained why they made this decision. “It has been made after extensive discussions with our exhibitors over the last few months and, more especially, these last 10 days. There has always been a clear demand for a four-day ISE in Barcelona in June. However, Uncertainty continues around the pandemic and international travel, which means we cannot carry out ISE 2021 in its traditional format. Our exhibitors have made it clear that there is a desire to unite the industry, but at the local level. As a result of this, We are targeting Europe's key markets in the audiovisual sector and aim to deliver a quality audience willing to meet with potential suppliers, existing clients and networking with their peers”.

To carry out these events, Cisco will participate and together they will take ISE to four cities in June “and we will continue with our popular RISE Spotlight program throughout the year. Working with the industry in this way, We will provide opportunities for sales teams to meet with their customers, for people to experiment with product innovations and, of course, for networking”.

“COVID has taught us all to listen more carefully”, David Labuskes said, CEO of Avixa, He also explains that this innovative initiative has been the result of listening. “Listen to our neighbors, to our family, to our co-workers, to our clients and our market. I think this approach reflects what we have heard, a strong desire for prudent and safe face-to-face meetings that can strengthen business connections and initiate recovery. “We are honored to be in a position to offer all of this to our community.”.

For his part, Giles Sutton, Deputy CEO of Cedia, has added: “Everyone in the industry is missing human interaction.”, which is such a vital part of our industry: the opportunity not only to see, listen to and touch new products and innovations in our sector, but also everything that ISE provides in terms of learning, networking and that important sense of community”.

However, restrictions continue to mark the market and the way of doing things. “The success of ISE has been based on broad industry support and that is why we have made these decisions this week. “We are eager to debut in Barcelona with a show where our community can be together again in February 2022.”.

Mike Blackman has completed: “We are humbled by the numerous messages of support we have received from our customers and partners, who have appreciated the steps we have taken. We look forward to continuing to serve the industry in the coming year and are eager to be back together in Barcelona to deliver the ISE show in February 2022.”.
