The Shanghai Stock Exchange, the fourth largest stock market in the world, It is located in a financial center of this city in China, which also includes the China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) y el China Securities Depository and Clearing (CSDC).
Its auditorium has a premium sound infrastructure and technology has been used for its installation. Renkus-Heinz.
This is a space that is architecturally impressive but presents a series of design challenges.. The seats rise from the front of the theater and large red walls have been used to separate the seating areas.. The steep slope of these required taking into account the vertical coverage of the audio system. This is why it was decided to implement the Renkus-Heinz PN102/LA line array series.
The self-powered PN102LA-RD is a fully integrated electroacoustic solution with all elements optimized to deliver optimal fidelity and coverage.. Rhaon II, the Renkus-Heinz Audio Operations Network, together with the Dante network of Audinate, expand the power, the adaptability and audio performance of digital infrastructure.
The integration company Tico has been responsible for carrying out this project.. “When you have a space like this auditorium, which looks very impressive, “You don’t want to commit.”, comenta Lin Jinzhao, company technical manager. “With Renkus-Heinz there is no compromise. The speakers blend into the space and sound excellent. Everyone praises the system”.
Tico technical engineers used original Renkus-Heinz hardware to fly the PN102LA-RD line array, including low frequency elements. A custom mounting system was also used with DRS18-2R subwoofers that have been hung vertically behind the main arrays., left and right. Renkus-Heinz direct-radiating subwoofers deliver high-power audio within robust enclosures.
Classic vented design delivers the natural, uncolored subwoofer preferred by audio professionals around the world. Audio workflow uses Dante as the primary signal and control protocol, meaning the system is scalable and allows for future expansion.
The system allows the audio to be placed where it is most desired, in the audience. “The result is a system with excellent sound and a very happy customer”, explains Lin. “With Renkus-Heinz we can offer audio solutions regardless of the design, the size or shape of a location”.
