Christie introduces its new Mirage SST-6P 6P dual-head 3D projection system

This pure laser RGB solution, with 4K resolution and 18.000 lumens, It is designed for installation in theme parks, giant screen attractions or domes.

Mirage SST-6P is the latest projection system that has been unveiled Christie. This is a 3D and 6-Primary Pure Laser RGB Solution (6P), dual head, 4K resolution and 18.000 lumens, that doubles the screen brightness of 3D projection systems 30.000 lamp-based lumens. A device that has been designed to project clear images, colorful and bright of the highest quality in theme parks, giant screen attractions or domes.

This 6P dual-head 3D projection system uses two groups of RGB laser primaries with slightly off-center wavelengths.: one directed at the right eye and the other at the left. Reusable passive 3D glasses filter the different wavelengths and send, without shutter, the light to the corresponding eye. The result is a natural and comfortable 3D visual experience.

It is a system that projects light on the screen with a degree of efficiency of 90%, compatible with white screen to blend the multi-projection matrices so common in domes or dark ride type attractions (haunted castles, ghost train, etc.), or in the so-called flying theaters.

TruLife electronics allow the Mirage SST-6P to project 4K 3D content at 120fps per eye, with option to upscale to 480fps in 2K.

The system uses two projection heads with fiber coupling, with external coolers and light sources. Projection heads are silent, compact and light, and generate a heat level lower than 2.400 BTU each.

With omnidirectional orientation and solid state lighting, The Mirage SST-6P has been designed with the flexibility required for installing projection systems in difficult environments.. Assures 30.000 virtually maintenance-free hours with operation at 80% of brightness.

This projector incorporates Twist tools to perform warping and blending in the system itself, and is compatible with Mystique, a software solution for camera-based automatic alignment, and with Guardian to perform invisible, real-time automatic correction of faded images without interrupting the projection of the content.
