Global management project

The origins of this project date back to August 2020, when Cinépolis marketing managers were looking for a new communication platform to globally manage their digital signage circuit, until then managed with three different CMS in its rooms in Europe, Latam and the United States.

“They tested us with a multitude of scenarios and we responded quickly and tangibly to everything they proposed to us.: compatibility of our player across the full range of pre-existing displays; creation of Applets tailored and integrated with your systems; screen synchronization, text overlay to videos… There was no request that we did not develop with our platform”, remembers Germán Talón, CTO of nsign.tv.

The data to be displayed on the screens, whose destiny were menu boards digital and billboards, they should have as their origin the information of their systems, as well as the contents being updated without human intervention, in a completely automated way.

This is how they introduced the new concept of smart templates from nsign.tv into their strategy, las Applets, microapplications that run from the platform to change and/or update content automatically from an external source, in addition to being used to change content dynamically, saving time and production costs.

One of the developments tailored to Cinépolis has been the integration of these Applets with the company's internal servers., with the aim of extracting information automatically by reading .xml files.

Cinepolis nsign-tv stratechAfter evaluating several platforms, Cinépolis chose nsign.tv for its power, flexibility, as well as the ability to develop improvements and speed of response. This is what they point out from this film exhibition chain: “nsign.tv allows us to do things that the rest of the platforms had told us were impossible to do”.

Regarding hardware, Cinepolis uses different types of screens in its different cinemas, which translate into diversity of sizes, resolutions and operating systems.

But none of this has been an inconvenience to deploy the platform with all the cases in about three weeks and with hardly any intervention from the nsign.tv technical team or Stratch., since the client himself carried out the migration independently after having been instructed in the use of this platform.
