Panasonic deploys 450 Led screens and 1.170 projectors for the Tokyo Olympics
As the official technology provider of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games 2020, the japanese multinational Panasonic will display 420 large format LED screens, 1.170 projectors and 940 broadcast cameras.
For more than twenty years, Panasonic maintains its commitment to sport as Official sponsor of the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games 2020, which will take place 23 from July to 8 August and 24 from August to 5 September, respectively.
This year, The celebration of the largest sporting event in the world has special meaning for Panasonic as a technology provider, since they are celebrated in Japan, country where the company was created more than a hundred years ago by Konosuke Matsushita.
“We will contribute all our technology and innovation to the Tokyo Olympic Games, including 420 Led screens large format, which are equivalent to a length of two football fields; 1.170 projectors y 940 broadcast cameras that will offer simultaneous playback to 220 countries and regions, has pointed out Mirko Scaletti, general director of Panasonic Spain and Portugal.

Panasonic joins the International Olympic Committee in its campaign for another year #StrongerTogether, in order to build a better world through sport and its values. Under the motto Stronger Together, This initiative seeks to promote a message of solidarity and unity through sport, focused on the fact that the world only progresses when we move forward in unison.
