In his futuristic Warsaw shop, Modivo has designed a shopping experience phygital, that merges physical and online shopping. The project has been used 110 screens of 55 Inch PPDS Philips X-Line.

The new and avant-garde digital store of Modivo uses screens Philips of 55 inches to transform the world of retail fashion, merging the advantages of physical and online shopping experiences, in a stock-free shop.

PPDS has announced that 110 of its 4K videowall screens Philips X-Line have been selected and installed in modivo's futuristic new store in Warsaw, the first retail store phygital fully automated world.

Experience phygital is the latest marketing trend that unites e-commerce and physical stores, taking advantage of both environments.

Located in the mall Mlociny Gallery of Warsaw, with 85.000 square meters, Modivo, who is part of the group Eobuwie, is one of the main online fashion stores, with a catalog of more than 70.000 articles and almost 250 Brands. Among them are Armani, Boss, Calvin Klein, Diesel, DKNY, Guess, Kurt Geiger, Ralph Lauren and Lacoste, among others.

Inaugurated in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, the first store under the Modivo brand has been designed to offer a modern shopping experience, comfortable and safe, merging the advantages of physical and online shopping experiences, with PPDS as the protagonist.

Phygital Experience

In collaboration with Modivo's technology partner, Nanovo a total of 110 Philips X-Line 4K Android displays 55 inches throughout the store.

Designed to work 24×7 and safely FailOver (which means screens never turn off), the installation includes a videowall, configured with 25 Philips screens and almost without bezels. Thanks to its built-in Pure Colour Pro software, it offers greater illumination through a customized color temperature, creating a bright and highly immersive environment when visitors enter the store, at the same time that it is impossible to ignore by passers-by.

The pandemic showed that the store had to be designed in such a way that it could continue to operate through the most challenging conditions.. Breaking with tradition, the futuristic design of the Modivo store does not have stock, which creates a more open look, with fewer staff. When customers enter the store – a theater of digital screens that show the latest fashions, collections and the company's brand- sit on couches to flip through the catalog on a touch tablet.

Thanks to Nanovo's digital platform for stores, Signio, all stock is displayed in an easy-to-use interface, which is directly connected to the 'automatic warehouse' adjacent to the store, that contains more than 100.000 Articles.

Once the customer has made their choice, just enter your mobile number on the tablet to receive a unique code. This can be presented at the entrance of the tester and, once scanned, the customer is directed to one of the eight available testers, each of which is named after the world's leading fashion capitals, like Prague, London or Milan. The items are made available to the customer behind sliding doors located inside the fitting room.

In addition, each tester - which can be customized, For example, adjusting the light- is equipped with a wall-mounted touchscreen, showing your initial choice. This screen is directly connected to the logistics system of the Modivo warehouse for convenience, allowing customers to view and modify their selections (For example, adding new items and sizes).

Once the client has made their final decision, you can confirm your order through the screen and exit the tester. Purchased items are delivered at the collection point, where they are paid, which concludes the visit.
