Obsidian NX

At the Frankfurt Trade Fair, Obsidian will present its new portable lighting control solutions such as the NX1 console.

Obsidian Control Systems, brand of Elation Professional, returns to Frankfurt, to the fair Prolight+Sound, and invite designers, programmers and operators to the Pavilion 12.1, stand C49 to test your new releases, including lighting control products under the Onyx platform.

Visitors will have the opportunity to try the new NX1, a portable lighting console that incorporates all the features offered by the experience Onyx in an ultra-compact package. Offers professional functions and is built with the latest industrial components.

The fader wing will also be exhibited, compact and motorized, NX P, as well as a small USB-powered control surface for Onyx, the NX K, both ideal solutions for the NX1 console.

The latest developments of this platform will make their debut at the fair, from powerful NDI video input connectivity to new luminaire parameter configuration options.

Obsidian Netron

The new devices in the data distribution line Netron Obsidian will also be available for detailed inspection.

NX1 is a full-featured portable lighting console running Obsidian's Onyx platform. Using this operating system, offers a professional feature whiteboard such as an HD multi-touch display 10,1 high-brightness inches; 4 assignable parameter encoders; 10 Motorized playbacks complete with four freely assigned buttons plus a hybrid array of function keys and extra playback. A dedicated Master Go section completes the efficient front panel design.

The latest in industrial components allows for fast start-up times, instant operation and the ability to process 8 Universes directly on the console. With four DMX ports, a Gigabit network for up to 8 Universes de Art-Net, sACN and the Onyx X-Net protocol, the NX 1 provides extensive connectivity and power for a wide variety of shows and applications.

Supports an additional touch monitor for even more direct access at any time. Expandable with dedicated NX K keyboard and NX P motorized playback wing. A simple magnetic alignment system allows attachment on either side of the NX1.

The NX P is a motorized and compact fader wing for the ONYX platform. It is the ideal expansion for any console Onyx 1 and systems Onyx PC. Replicates the full playback section of the NX1.

Four integrated DMX ports provide instant connectivity to the lighting system. Multiple NX P wings can be connected to any Onyx console or PC system, extending the shortcut with 20 reproductions at the same time.

Flexible button set can be assigned to playback control or powerful function keys. The NX P reproduces the layout and functionality of the surfaces of the NX1 and NX4 consoles, so all the operation is fluid and intuitive. A simple magnetic alignment system allows attachment on either side of the NX1 console or the NX K control panel.

The NX K is a small USB-powered control surface for Onyx. The ideal companion for the NX1 console and Onyx PC systems, replicates the full keyboard and command section of larger consoles.

Four encoders complete the programming experience for quick and direct access to parameters. A simple magnetic alignment system allows attachment on either side of the NX1 console or the NX P motorized fader wing.
