Crestron provides secure Byod connectivity for collaboration in the new DM Lite
The new DigitalMedia Lite solutions from Crestron provide fast and secure connectivity, signal and control extension for sharing Byod content in large meeting spaces.
The Workplace Collaboration Solutions Specialist Crestron Electronics has expanded its content distribution platform DigitalMedia with new and improved functions in transmitters and receivers DM Lite (more details in Digital AV), that now the connected peripherals increase, like cameras and speakers, in applications of all sizes and speed up the sharing of content in Byod environments.
These solutions, allowing increased functionality in larger or more complex applications, provide fast and secure connectivity, signal and control to support the most common connections, including USB-C y HDMI, and are fully compatible with the ecosystem Crestron DMPS Lite y DM Lite.
Byod content sharing has become commonplace in hybrid meeting rooms and higher education environments. DM Lite transmitters and receivers make Byod sharing easy without the need for adapters, dongles or converters, while eliminating points of failure and poor signal integrity.
New DM Lite transmitters and receivers support peripheral extensions, while maintaining clear, crisp video resolutions, of up to 4K40 4:4:4. Besides, They support enterprise-grade security protocols and HDCP 2.3, the latest standard in content protection for companies that do not have adapters and dongles.
Since USB-C is a critical connection point on personal devices, Crestron recognized the need to support this connectivity and address its distance limitation of a few 3 metros.
Transmitters with USB-C connectivity, which are now part of Crestron's DM Lite series, allow customers to display and convert content from these connections in clear, crisp quality at distances of until 70 metros, offering content viewing in meeting rooms, larger auditoriums and conference spaces.
Plus USB-C connectivity and streaming, New DM Lite Series Features Offer HDMI Integration and Device Charging. Solutions require no custom programming and run right out of the box, offering low installation complexity.
