Marshall Electronics will present the CV620-TBI PTZ camera at IBC
Designed to automatically track people, using Pan/Tilt/Zoom movement methods with AI precision, CV620-TBI camera Marshall Electronics offers a 340° horizontal range and 120° vertical tilt.
Marshall Electronics will present in the next edition of IBC 2022, which will be celebrated from 9 al 12 September in Amsterdam, PTZ camera CV620-TBI. This device has been designed to automatically follow presenters using Pan/Tilt/Zoom motion methods with AI precision.
This camera uses new facial recognition technology and intelligently learns the movement dynamics of the subject. This takes a lot of the guesswork out of camera intelligence., reducing late or inaccurate maneuvers requiring corrective adjustment and minimizing fatigue.
PTZ cameras CV620-TBI (in black) y CV620-TWI (in white) are built around new sensor technology Sony High sensitivity with a 20x optical zoom range of 5~110mm from a viewing angle of approximately 60°.
The CV620-TBI offers optimal color reproduction with a high level of detail, even in difficult light environments. They have simultaneous HD outputs of 3GSDI connectivity, HDMI and Ethernet IP with a resolution of up to 1,920×1.080p a 60 fps.
With a flexible 340° horizontal range of motion and 120° vertical tilt, Provides a large viewing area for the new auto tracking feature.
Tracking technology is not new to the PTZ camera market. Early versions required a secondary fixed camera, normally installed in its base, to scan the environment, and they demanded that the interlocutor wear a cord.
Viewers of content from these early self-tracking cameras had to contend with motion sickness and viewer fatigue.. As auto tracking features have been refined over the years, These elements have been eliminated and smoother and more precise maneuvers have been implemented.
“Marshall has been waiting for AI technology to advance enough to integrate it into its self-tracking cameras to offer smooth, precise positioning without causing viewer fatigue.”, states Tod Musgrave, marshall chamber director. “The CV620-TBI offers that level of performance without the need for laces, additional software or a secondary reference camera”.
The new CV620-TBI trail cameras are equipped with 3GSDI and HDMI outputs, as well as a remote AV over IP camera source. Ethernet connectivity (IP) offers ease of setup and operation with a single cable for PoE+, video, audio and control.
Marshall dedicates considerable resources to ensuring that its cameras are compatible with and controllable from codecs such as OBS project, Vmix and other software production tools. Control can be sent from the remote control, which includes infrared, or from a broadcast controller Marshall VS-PTC-IP, the basic level driver VS-PTC-200, video management software (VMS), a web browser, as well as third-party control platforms, as Skaarhoj.
Marshall also collaborates with companies such as Netgear to enhance configuration with managed switches specifically designed for AV over IP. Marshall cameras can be selected on the M4250 and M4300 series switches to allow quick installation and configuration.
