Analog Way powers major software developer's new EBC
Aquilon C Analog Way has responded to the requirements of the new Executive Information Center (EBC): seamless switching, complex video wall processing, Dante audio, 12G SDI and true 4K HDR 4:4:4.
AVH Technology Partners of Boston has selected a Aquilon C of Analog Way for the new Executive Information Center (Executive Briefing Center – EBC) located in the corporate headquarters of a major New England software developer.
Designed with capabilities to deliver compelling investor presentations, informative daily briefings for staff and engaging training sessions for end users, The EBC is a space that not only meets the needs of the client today, but it also does so with the technological demands of the future.
“The client is very creative and wanted to go further in everything”, points out Steve Grace, president of AVH. “With a large Led video wall, spatial audio and theatrical lighting, EBC can synchronize video content with acoustic and lighting effects. This is a space with capabilities rarely found in corporate environments.”.
When AVH began the search for equipment that could offer what the client wanted to achieve in the EBC, “Analog Way responded to all our requirements”, comments the vice president of AVH, Collin Hogan, who designed the system. “We needed seamless switching, complex video wall processing, Dante audio, 12G SDI and true 4K HDR 4:4:4. Aquilon C offered it all, and in one box. This simplified our schemes”.
Aquilon C, which is part of the product family LivePremier by Analog Way, is a modular and scalable 4K/8K video wall processor and multi-screen presentation system.
At the EBC, an Aquilon C of 16×12 drives a LED video screen Planar, with a pitch of 0,9 mm and approximately 3.6×2 metros. It has a control system Crestron easy to use and browser based. Mike Valadao de Devine Technology in Canton, Massachusetts, integrated and installed the Aquilon for AVH.
“Aquilon offers everything AVH was looking for. It can receive various signal types up to 4K60 HDR and output those signals with solid performance. Besides, the EBC is poised to grow with future fonts and displays. Aquilon can switch, scale and open windows to any exit, creating multiple layers of content and PIP on the main and other screens. And with our low latency from entry to exit there is no delay in the conversation if the client wants to videoconference.”, points out Seth Teates, Analog Way Regional Sales Director.
AVH project manager, Ed Hondzinski, points out that the EBC only uses a small part of Aquilon's capabilities, but there are big plans for what's to come and trust that Aquilon can handle it.
“This was our first project that required the ability to integrate with Unreal Engine and a full spatial audio system.”, Hogan reports..
System control can be performed in an on-site control room with a touch panel and preview monitors or in the EBC itself with a desktop and graphical user interface., simple and automated, which makes the operation “very accessible for the everyday user”, Hogan adds..
Supply chain issues persist across industries in post-COVID world, and AVH designed the EBC at a time when everyone was unsure of equipment availability.
