Avanzia designs an immersive Led cube to promote tourism in the Dominican Republic
The recent edition of Feature in Ifema Madrid has featured the debut of 'Cube by Advance‘ at the Dominican Republic stand, an immersive cube composed of 135 m2 of Led panels and 3D content, that highlights the tourist and cultural heritage of this country and that will visit other international fairs.
The engineering subsidiary in LATAM Advance has developed Cube by Avanzia, an immersive Led cube with 3D content, on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic (minors), to enhance the tourist heritage, cultural and artistic of the country, which was premiered during the recent celebration of Feature 2023 and that will visit other important tourist events, like Berlin, Frankfurt, Paris, London and Dubai.
“Cube by Avanzia it's a immersive show what David Collado, Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, He commissioned us to promote and disseminate tourism in the area - he explains to Digital AV Claudio Missiego, responsible for business development in LATAM at Avanzia-. Taking into account that the first thing the visitor does when he arrives at his hotel is look out the window, we have created the 'Look out and dream' concept, with four 3D scenarios that value the country: beaches, mountain, colonial area and large hotels, and a fifth dedicated to exhibition of Dominican artist Ivan Tovar, considered the greatest representative of surrealism in this country”.
This immersive experience is formed by 135 m2 of Led panels, configured in tthree large screens of 6×4 meters on sides and floor, and another front of 6×6 metros, all with a pixel pitch 2,6 mm, supplied by Audiovisual Fluge, which is completed with a large ceiling mirror to promote the user's feeling as if they were on the beaches, mountains or in the colonial zone of the Dominican Republic.
The images and files shown have been provided by the Ministry of Tourism, with the collaboration of Manuel Luna, your communications manager, and recreated by Romera Infographic with the tools 3D Studio Max, Vray y Tyflow for simulation on Led screens.
“The entire content generation has been created thinking about the viewer's perspective, in order to promote the immersive 3D experience, con 8K resolution to provide maximum realism”, points out Raul Gargallo, Avanzia CTO.
Specifically, they have been generated four thematic blocks, which always start with a open window, to transport the visitor so that they can take pictures or dance to the rhythm of their music in the most exotic and attractive corners of this paradisiacal country..

The Dominican Republic stand presented at Fitur 2023 and which will visit other international fairs, has been designed from this country by the architect Lisa Ortega, with specialist assembly thinktank. “We have created a new spatial concept, differential and referential, to communicate the heritage of this country to the user with an interactive message”, says Claudio Missiego.
