Kazakh University once again opts for Arec for its Law Department
For the expansion carried out in the auditorium, The university has purchased a KL-3WT multimedia station and a CI-T21H infrared automatic tracking camera from Arec.
The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, I already used the systems Arec, brand that distributes Avit Vision, and with the help of the partner in the area StepLine and systems integrator Alceza, has added his Lecture Capture y Auto tracking of speakers to the law department auditorium to record and broadcast the classes.
the university, also known as KazNU, incorporated Arec solutions into its facilities in 2018, when you were looking for innovative learning solutions that could help raise your teaching standards and simplify working with media.
Since then, has purchased and used various elements of the Arec media capture system, including stations KL-3W, LS-2 y LS-200, speaker tracking ones DS-4CU and the platform MSR.
These systems have proven to be reliable and easy to use., and have easily replaced previous software-based solutions. Taking into account this positive experience and the advice of StepLine, KazNU decided to install more Arec systems in its other faculties and auditoriums, starting with one of those from the law department.
Arec KL-3WT and CI-T21H
For this extension, the university acquired a KL-3WT multimedia station and an infrared automatic tracking camera CI-T21H.
The built-in display of the KL-3WT model 3 channels makes teachers always aware of what is being recorded and transmitted. The screen's graphical user interface also helps teachers select which video sources to use., start and stop recording and streaming, and export recorded videos to a flash drive, among other functions.
The station takes video signals from a smart lectern and a CI-T21H camera, mounted on a wall bracket. Its third channel is kept open in case a document camera or a second computer is needed. Combined videos produced by the station are streamed to the university's YouTube channel, where they are available through private links.
Regarding the CI-T21H, ensures that teachers are always in the camera plane and allows them to focus on the class. Besides, does not lose sight of teachers even if students enter the field of vision, since it only looks for the positioner AM-600, an especially important feature for tracking in classrooms.
