Vilnius City Hall modernizes its lighting system with Prolights

The new lighting infrastructure, composed of 46 LumiPix 12UQPRO y 24 Smart BatMore Prolights, has allowed the council to celebrate its 700 birthday.

Vilna, the capital of Lithuania, has celebrated his 700 anniversary and among the events that have been carried out, the performance of a revival of the oratorio stands out “The Creation” by Joseph Haydn in his town hall. The oratorio was performed for the first time in this consistory more than 200 years and, later, was performed in Vienna (Austria). The premiere has been possible thanks to the installation of the new lighting system of Prolights what has been done Sound Plugged.

The new lighting system, which includes 46 LumiPix 12UQPRO y 24 Smart BatPlus, brings color and dynamism to town hall events, making it more versatile and flexible.

Until now, the City Council could only offer basic lighting, and equipment had to be rented for more complex events, which meant an additional cost. The professional equipment available now will always be available and will serve even for events that require exceptional lighting, like plays.

“The new integrated lighting system at Vilnius City Hall is an important step forward in improving the visitor experience and attracting world-renowned artists”, concludes Perlis Vaisieta, mayor of the town hall.
