Shure introduces next-generation GLX-D+ dual-band wireless
With more than double the bandwidth compared to the first generation, Shure has developed an ideal solution for presenters, guitarists and vocalists.
Shure has introduced its new and improved dual-band wireless system GLX-D+, an ideal solution for guitarists, bassists, vocalists and presenters who want to use this technology without complications.
The system's new dual-band wireless technology can operate in 5,8 GHz, delivering a reliable and consistent signal by automatically searching and selecting the cleanest frequencies available. Dual band GLX-D+ intelligently prevents interference and ensures interruptions don't stop the show, allowing users to focus on the performance while benefiting from quality, transparent wireless audio.
GLX-D+ is available in guitar pedal receiver options, tabletop and rackmount, with a wide selection of lavalier microphones, headband and hand, including SM58.
Features a durable metal design that can be integrated into a pedal board (feeding of 9 In CC). The GLXD6+ Digital Wireless Guitar Pedal makes it easy for guitarists and bassists to go wireless without compromising tone or complicating their rigs..
Guitar pedal receiver includes a tuner and a new ¼” input for added flexibility when wired practice and performance is preferred. Musicians can easily switch between two or more transmitters connected to a single receiver, making onstage transitions between instrumentation seamless.
GLX-D+ has multiple smart charging options. The new SB904 lithium-ion battery can be charged directly in the desktop and mid-rack receivers or via a USB-C connector on the transmitter.
“Equipped with our legendary Shure audio technology, GLX-D+ users are guaranteed to experience exceptional digital wireless audio that captures your tone and includes everything you need for recharging right in the box.”, comment Mike Nagel, associate director of product management at Shure.
RF Performance
GLX-D+ Dual Band Wireless provides better RF performance, antenna distribution and automatic frequency management for up to 11 half-rack systems in typical environments (16 in optimal conditions). Directional antenna and frequency manager accessories required (GLXD+FM) available separately.
“From modest concert halls and auditoriums to the world's largest tours and stages, the musicians, Presenters and houses of worship rely on Shure wireless microphone systems to inspire confidence that their performances will be extraordinary.. GLX-D+ provides effortless setup, “removing barriers to entry for those who want to take the first step on their wireless journey.”, states Eduardo Valdes, associate vice president of global marketing, Shure.
GLX-D+ desktop and rack-mount systems are available with three handheld wireless microphone options, including SM58, Beta 58A y Beta 87A .
Systems and components are available in various configurations designed to meet the needs of musicians and presenters.. Since all wireless systems operate in a license-free frequency range, Users will not have to worry about technical obstacles while traveling.
