Europalco projects 45 millions of pixels in an impressive suspended stage
To provide this experience at a Millennium BCP event, Europalco I create an extra wide curved screen of 525 square meters and used 12 projectors Christie Boxer 4K30. Two Spyder X80 video processors ran the content and managed the displays.
Europalco has created a highly complex event for the management meeting of Millennium BCP, the largest private banking corporation in Portugal, held in the Carlos Lopes Pavilion from Lisbon.
The organizer, DCE Loving Brands, chose this company to give life to the meeting that brought together 1.600 guests and had the participation of Bárbara Tinoco, the Golden Globe-winning Portuguese singer and songwriter.
Forty technicians had only two days to prepare for an event that presented a space challenge. Europalco engineers had to find a solution that would allow the client to have Tinoco perform in the middle of the meeting without breaking the dynamics of the event.. As there was no space in the room to prepare and perform the Portuguese singer's show at the scheduled time, They created a stage suspended above the event.
The suspended stage was at a height that surprised all the guests and created an environment with great visibility, acoustics and remarkable aesthetics. The show required enormous concentration and excellent coordination between the artists and the assembly team.; Many rehearsals focused on safety and maintaining the dynamics of the moment were necessary..
To provide this experience, Europalco projected 45 millions of pixels on an extra-wide curved screen of 525 square meters and used 12 projectors Christie Boxer 4K30. Two video processors Spyder X80 from the same manufacturer executed the contents and managed the screens.
“At Europalco we love to innovate and surprise our customers. This project presented a great challenge due to the space and the artist's performance in the middle of the event.. As usual, “We gave free rein to our imagination and achieved this innovative and complex solution that satisfied our client and surprised the guests.”, explains Pedro Magalhães, founder and CEO of Europalco, company that was not only in charge of providing the audiovisual service, the screen and the stage, but also the furniture for the Millennium BCP event.
