LEA helps in the renovation process of KFC Mexico
In each of the 70 premises of KFC that have integrated the first phase of the project, amplifier has been installed LEA Connect Series 354.
The popular restaurant chain KFC is reinventing itself to become a family dining destination. Con 502 locations throughout the country of Mexico and major expansion plans, wanted consistent audio content for all their venues along with a simple way to manage it centrally. For this, turned to professional amplifiers LEA Professional and the company's cloud connectivity capacity to overcome the challenge.
“KFC is what chicken means in Mexico. Many families come to KFC during the week and on weekends. It is a popular destination and night out”, comments Daniel Agüero, president of Signo Corporation, the company KFC trusted to specify and install the right audio solution for the company's needs.
To maintain this high level, KFC wanted the same audio content and atmosphere in all its stores and the ability to control it from a single place.
The process began by partnering with Intelligent, a company that focuses its activity on the sale of audio, video and security based in Monterrey (Mexico), who opted for LEA Professional technology.
“LEA's technology is easy to understand and gives KFC the ability to control, Monitor and troubleshoot all locations from one place via the cloud. These were all key selling points for me. Intéligos manages the product, logistics, shipping and storage, and has helped ensure everything runs smoothly”, Aguero adds.
Agüero's Signo team started with 70 stores in the first phase of the project. “We felt we had a great opportunity to improve things”.
Intéligos recommended the LEA Connect Series amplifier 354 for each location. It is an amplifier 4 channels with 350 watts per channel, providing each KFC location with enough power to support the delivery of audio content. It is easy to install, either via the built-in Wi-Fi hotspot or with an Ethernet connection.
By leveraging an integrated IoT core from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Signo can send each of KFC's LEA Amps to the cloud, where it can be accessed and controlled safely, from anywhere in the world, without needing to use a VPN to access a Local Area Network.
“We can also easily modify the music content in all locations, as well as schedule amplifier on and off times to match store operating hours, which can help save energy and extend the life of products”, Agüero delights.
As KFC continues to implement the LEA solution, The cloud component will become even more critical as the company expands its footprint across the country.
With Phase One completed, The Signo team has developed an ideal preliminary project for the rest of the project. Y, above all, KFC Mexico has greater control to offer families across the country a uniform and consistent experience in stores, a key element to the total brand experience that the company aims to achieve.
With continuity and baseline control achieved, KFC plans to regionalize content across all its stores based on local music and content preferences to further engage its customers., all through the Cloud and controlled from a single location.
