Global E&Cs Challenge Center updates its AV system with Leyard

PCL Live has installed an all-in-one interactive direct-view Led screen of 162 inches of Leyard and a video conferencing system Logitech, integrated with PTZ cameras.

When the engineering and construction services provider Global E&Cs Challenge Centre had to renovate their existing LCD wall, the company responsible for the project, PCL Live, set its sights on direct vision all-in-one interactive LED systems Leyard Europe.

PCL Live was asked to provide a system that would replace the TV wall made up of 12 individual LCD screens. They were looking for an all-in-one 4K Led touch solution.

The option was a 4K Led screen 162 inches with touch functionality, which was not only ideal for its technical specifications, but also for its environmental focus, that prioritizes the reuse of materials and the reduction of energy consumption.

“The previous screen was made up of 12 individual LCD panels, that cost thousands of euros a year in energy, even without taking into account that the heat generated required the air conditioning to be on all the time”, comment Alex Sherman, PCL Live Business Development and Technical Director. “Now, Running costs are only a few hundred pounds a year, and the functionality has been multiplied by 10”.

The televisions that made up the original wall have been reused for a new installation. Besides, PCL Live has provided this headquarters with a video conferencing system Logitech that includes a PTZ camera and that it is designed to make presentations using the screen.

This AV renovation has brought great benefits to the company. Touch screen increases functionality that staff can use, so that they can present or hold workshops and meetings in a more optimal way, on a clearer screen that they can interact with.
