DiGiCo offers a new environment for artistic expression in the cultural center of Zrenjanin

He cultural center of Zrenjanin (Cultural Center of Zrenjanin – KCZR) is a multifaceted institution dedicated to the promotion of culture. Actively participate in organizing concerts, thematic forums, exhibitions, film screenings and professional meetings held in this Serbian city.

Thanks to your participation in a public procurement process Breeding Project, distributor of DiGiCo products in Serbia, had the opportunity to supply, install and commission a complete audiovisual system, adapted to the requirements of the KCZR.

The audio element revolves around a mixing console DiGiCo S21 that offers significant improvements for the interpretation of musical and stage programs, as well as for film projection, and offers great potential for artistic creation and expression.

The DiGiCo S21 table 48 channels is equipped with a DMI card, plus two DiGiCo A168 Stages portable IO expanders from 16 inputs and eight outputs to manage live sound, the recording, playback and effects.

“The center features a selection of dynamic and condenser instrumental microphones, as well as those dedicated to choirs and voice reinforcement”, states Dragoslav Beljin, audio engineer at AVL Projekt. After installation, Beljin provided in-depth two-day training to audiovisual technicians Bojan Stanulov and Srdjan Devic, both from the KCZR technical team.

According to Stanulov, The S21 interface has logical commands, which makes the process of learning how to use the console very simple. ” The multifunctionality of the S21 is fantastic: We have already used it for signal distribution during recording with Cubase. It has significantly simplified our workflow in the best way possible.. The user gains access to full functionality normally only found on much larger mixing consoles and at a great price”.
