Obsidian Control will exhibit at Plasa 2023 its advances in modular lighting

Along with Onyx software update, Obsidian Control Systems invites lighting control professionals, of the 3 al 5 September, to try and discover their new products at the London Olympia.

In it estand D50 of Place 2023, Obsidian Control Systems, belonging to Elation Lighting, will show professionals its modular lighting console NX1 and the latest software Onyx, as well as the first range of IP65 data distribution and other devices in the range Neutron.

Visitors will be able to see and try out the latest software addition to their control platform Onyx, which incorporates NDI Video Input, Real-time audio analysis and Beat Sync, to improve workflow across Obsidian's various console and PC solutions, as with NX1 in combination with NXP Expansion Wing and NXK Portable Keyboard Plug-in.

Another novelty that visitors can try is the scalable lighting console NX1, with all the Obsidian features that have propelled the Onyx platform to new heights. NXP will also be exhibited, and compact motorized fader wing, as well as NXK, a small USB powered control surface, ideal for this console.

Despite the large amount of IP-rated entertainment technology on the market, until now there were no IP-rated data distribution devices. Netron is the world's first IP65 product range to date to do so.

Featuring a custom-designed sealed chassis, IP ports and touch controls, las IP65 solutions Offered as a six-port RDM splitter (RDM6 IP), a six-port EtherDMX node (EN6 IP) and an eight-port managed POE switch (NS8 IP).

New installation devices

Obsidian Control Systems also presents at Plasa 2023 a complete line of Netron products in smart form factors, optimized for system integrators and fixed installations.

Two new compact devices with interchangeable connection plates offer performance and flexibility. Available as RDM6D (six port RDM splitter) y EN6D (six-port EtherDMX node), These robust chassis can be DIN rail or wall mounted and offer terminal options, IDC (insulation displacement connector) and RJ45 DMX included.

Other new Netron devices include EN12i, a powerful rack-mount node with rigid cabling; EP1, a new single hook sized EtherDMX node; NS8, the half rack sized managed switch solution, y RP2, a two-way smart DMX power relay that serves as a protection device for lighting fixtures.
