DiGiCo SD12 controls the audio system of the Lėlė Puppet Theater in Vilnius

The famous Lithuanian State Puppet Theater has completed the technical renovation of its Great room, which now has a console DiGiCo SD12 as the core of the new audio system.

Appointed for his experience in integrating stage technology in many theaters and houses of culture in Lithuania, Sonus Exsertus faced some challenges when tackling this renovation project.

“The installation was further complicated by the fact that the theater premises are located in the historic complex of the Oginskii Palace, in the old town of the capital, and are protected by an agreement -explains Tomas Fabijonavičius, Sonus Exsertus project manager-. The sound equipment had to be installed with minimal intervention. Besides, “removing existing technology was not an easy task”.

After several years of renovation works throughout the building, The core of the audio system is a digital mixing console DiGiCo SD12 and FOH, a compact system especially suitable for stage installations.

This console has 72 channels to 48 kHz/96 kHz, which offers a large number of functions, y 119 Dynamic EQ processors that can be assigned to any of the input or output channels. Within the master section there is 16 graphic equalizers, 12 digital effects and even 12 control groups (VCA), making it easy to change sound technician settings with a single touch.
