PPDS transforms Silmäasema's image with Philips D-Line Android
Specialized in eye care, the finnish Eye position has installed more than two hundred Android SoC digital signage displays from Philips in forty key stores, that are managed with the Wave Controller platform of PPDS.
Founded in 1975, Eye position is a benchmark in the Finnish ophthalmological sector, con 150 shops and centers, where more than a thousand employees work, to offer a wide range of products and services specialized in vision and ocular health.
As part of a major investment and update in forty key stores for the company, Silmäasema partnered with FirstView Digital Signage, audiovisual integration specialist, y PPDS to reinvent the way you communicate with your customers, both inside and outside their establishments, in addition to offering more sustainable and profitable business practices.
To achieve these goals of Silmäasema, more than two hundred screens have been installed Philips D-Line Android SoC in all point-of-sale environments in all forty stores, replacing all existing paper communication material and introducing new branding and marketing possibilities.

A new era of control
To unleash all the power, versatility and intelligence of every Philips professional display, PPDS Wave Controller cloud platform is used to provide the Silmäasema team with precise levels of remote control and management of your screen fleet.
Accessible inside and outside the facilities through an intuitive and personalized interface, Wave Controller brings simplicity to installation and configuration, so that the Silmäasema team can see, manage, supervise, schedule content and control all screens remotely.

With the strategic approach Open2 de PPDS, internal content management software (CMS) FirstView has been installed directly on every Philips display along with Wave Controller, no need for external media players.
