The church of San Miguel is reborn with a spectacular sensory experience

Fruit of the collaboration between the Board of Communities of Castilla-La Mancha and the Cuenca Consortium, It has been held in the church of San Miguel 'Light Cuenca’. Located in the heart of this medieval city in the community of Castilla-La Mancha, next to the wall, This 13th century Roman Catholic church has undergone a complete restoration and is now an important cultural center of the city.

The new projection mapping show, fruit of the collaboration between the Board of Communities of Castilla-La Mancha and the Cuenca Consortium, revitalizes the historic monument and marks a crucial moment in the city's cultural development, symbolizing the convergence of tradition and innovation.

It is an artistic expression of the cultural wealth of the city., where animated images projected inside the Church of San Miguel are used, artistic lighting and surround sound. The light illuminates the cultural heritage of Cuenca. Las 2D and 3D animations Along with the musical composition, they propose different scenarios, different intensities that guide the visitor during the experience. Surround projections and spatial sound allow you to remain still or move freely around the room and seek different perspectives.

The design company Ibercover Studio has created captivating visual effects that pay tribute to the cultural legacy of this Cuenca city. To give life to 'Luz Cuenca', were associated with flights to provide audiovisual equipment.

The centerpiece of the exhibition is made up of twenty projectors G60-W7 Boat. The laser light source of the single chip laser projectors guarantees great image quality to display images on the walls of the church and on its famous ceiling adorned with Mudejar elements, enveloping visitors in an immersive experience.

“The performance and versatility of the Barco G60-W7 projectors allowed us to create a fascinating visual spectacle within the historic limits of the Church of San Miguel, redefining the limits of cultural immersion”, explains Fernando Carabias, Technical Product Director of Fluge Audiovisuales.
