Stonex collaborates on the new PortAventura attraction

At the Uncharted attraction: The riddle of Penitence, Stonex has carried out a stage mechanics and rigging project with the engines Moveket and the trusses Sixty82, that have given life to special effects.

Stonex has participated in the creation of the latest attraction of PortAventura, Uncharted: The riddle of Penitence. It is a dark ride with visual effects, almost 700 meters of travel and more than 12 meters high in a immersive space of 4.800 square meters and 16 meters high.

Moveket and Sixty82 have also been part of this project.. This is an indoor roller coaster., the first of its kind in the park, that transports visitors to a world of intense emotions and stunning visuals.

Based on the famous Uncharted universe, not only provides the thrill of a traditional roller coaster, but also immerses passengers in a unique sensory experience, thanks to its visual effects that are integrated thanks to the stage mechanics and rigging.

With almost 700 meters of travel and more than 12 meters high, Uncharted: The enigma of Penitence stands as an immersive jewel in a space of 4.800 square meters and 16 meters high. During the trip of approximately 90 seconds, Passengers enter total darkness, only to be surprised by visual effects, projections and animatronic figures that bring the Uncharted universe to life.

Stonex, in collaboration with Moveket and Sixty82, has played a fundamental role in creating this experience. A stage mechanics and rigging project was carried out with Moveket motors and Sixty82 trusses, that brought the attraction's special effects to life, guaranteeing exceptional precision and efficiency in the movement of scenic elements.

PortAventura Development Director, Luis Carlos Valencia, highlights the challenge of integrating light elements, video and sound in a three-dimensional space without walls or support, and the role that Stonex has played in this task. The choice of trusses and cranes to assemble each element of the show not only guaranteed seamless integration, but also facilitated future maintenance of the attraction.

The project also stood out with the implementation of 20 Moveket Plus-X fixed speed motors and more 200 meters of truss Sixty82, who were key to the assembly and operation of the show.
