Europalco transforms MEO Arena into a sound show for an event
As an event provider, Europalco has created an immersive sensory environment in this space, for which you have used the L-ISA system of L-Acoustics for the first time in Portugal.
The emblematic MEO Arena Lisbon has been the setting chosen for a sensory show on the occasion of the annual meeting of Generali Tranquility, one of the largest insurance companies in Portugal.
A project carried out by the Portuguese event provider Europalco, in which the system was used for the first time in this country L-ONE from the manufacturer L-Acoustics to create a immersive sound experience.
Organized by the agency Global Challenge, The event has served to show the 3.000 attendees who came to the stadium to renew the Tranquilidade brand, now with the name of Generali Tranquilidade, in which Europalco has deployed a varied range of AV technologies, scenery and furniture.
Specifically, The Portuguese company installed a central element of the event large projection screen, of 80×12 metros, in which they were used twelve teams Christie Boxer, whose management and signal handling was carried out with a Spyder X80 video processor from this manufacturer.
In collaboration with Desafío Global, Europalco's objective has been to create an event in which sound will play a key role in captivating the public. For this and for the first time in Portugal, L-Acoustics' L-ISA system was installed to create an immersive audio experience, transforming this space into a sound show.
This immersive environment also featured a total of 144 L-Acoustics speakers -con 72 Kara models, 48 Kiva, 12 SB18 y 12 KS28-, strategically distributed in eleven front clusters, two roof and three rear, to surround audio all angles.
The use of L-ISA technology allowed a precise spatialization of sound, ensuring that event attendees were fully immersed in the audiovisual spectacle.
One of the highlights of the event has been the integration of pulse Led, synchronized by radio frequency, that changed color to reflect the transition from the old green color of the insurance brand to the new red image of Tranquilidade.
A team of sixty professionals from Europalco has worked throughout the event process, dedicating two days to a thorough set-up, plus five others in the studio in order to test all the connections, the network and redundancies for any failure that may occur, with AVB protocols, Madi and analog audio.
For this, The technicians set up a small system to simulate what was going to happen at MEO Arena, with speakers, amplifiers and a digital mixing console Yamaha Shore PM7 with integrated L-ISA system.
