Powersoft amplifies the sound of the Bellandur Social restaurant
Mezzo amplifiers, Quattrocanali and Duecanali de Powersoft, along with your Verso gateway, provide consistent audio to this luxury Indian restaurant, in an integrated configuration that saves space and energy.
Designed to accommodate 1.500 Customers on three floors, Bellandur Social is a luxury entertainment centre in India where you can enjoy a sophisticated dinner under an oval glass dome that lets in natural daylight and sets the mood for the nightclub at night.
Owned by Impresario Hospitality Pvt. Ltd and directed by Riyaaz Amlani, Bellandur Social is inspired by nature and aims to create the feeling of a "garden city" within its walls, where sound plays a fundamental role in each area, both for day and night events and for the artists who perform there.
The Multi-zone audio system installed is based on the Mezzo Amplifiers, Duecanali and Quattrocanali by Powersoft, complemented by its new device gateway Verso, all monitored through the MyUniverso cloud platform.
The choice of Powersoft technology corresponds to Utkarsh Naidu, consultant Munro Acoustics: "Their amplifiers were the ideal choice because of their Advanced DSP Features, Compact performance and dimensions, as well as its dynamic music distribution capabilities, that allow audio to be easily routed across multiple zones".
The Oval glass dome of the restaurant proposed a Significant acoustic challenge. "It was crucial to ensure consistent sound quality and distribution throughout the space," he adds, and Powersoft played a key role in maintaining clear audio in all zones, serving both the diners and the nightlife of the premises".
The Digital Signal Processing integrated into the Powersoft amplifiers was another key element for its installation at Bellandur Social, where space is limited, "which eliminated the need for extra equipment for an external DSP, Reducing rack space requirements, power loads and heat dissipation".
Bellandur Social has four Quattrocanali 1204 and two 4804, all DSP+D, together with equipment from the range Duecanali, with a model 4804 and another 804; Four platforms of Mezzo Amplifiers 604 AD and three WM Touch Touch Screens, that are controlled remotely with Verso, A compact half-rack unit device that serves as a critical link to the entire audio system.
The amplifiers are paired with twenty Artec-306 speakers and five Action speakers of DAS Audio, in addition to two Q-10 subwoofers and nine Artec-S15, as well as with four NXL-44-44-4 and two 8008 of RCF Audio.
The integrator has used a Dante Avio Two Channels 2 for optimized audio routing, while the AV Line Switches Netgear GSM4230P and GSM4210PD ensure reliable network connectivity throughout the system.
Powersoft amplifiers and the Verso device are installed in an equipment rack in the basement of the premises. "This was the designated location for all of the Backend, which is why we decided to use a Dante workflow, considering that the DJ position is about 65 meters away", Naidu points out.
Audio sources are distributed and controlled across all zones with the solution Dynamic Music Distribution by Powersoft. The Verso gateway from this manufacturer also plays a crucial role in the installation. "Its remote management capability streamlines our operations," says Naidu, saving time and reducing the need for on-site visits. For the End User, Verso makes it easy to access and adjust the parameters".
Bellandur Social staff can easily control audio settings, whether you're in the main dining room, the DJ booth or anywhere else in the venue. "This accessibility ensures that the sound system is tailored to the needs of the establishment, seamlessly transitioning from daytime dinner to evening events", concludes this expert.
