“With the new version of Questra we can control equipment over the network”, Gabriel Alonso by Adam Hall

Assistance to WHEREAS 2025 of Adam Hall Integrated Systems has been marked by the presentation of two novelties: updating design and management software LD Systems Questra and the expansion of the DQOR speaker series with its own subwoofer models for indoor and outdoor installations.

Adam Hall highlighted the last edition of WHEREAS The importance of control in your audio and lighting solutions. Y, for it, became known, through demonstrations, the new update Questra of its LD Systems brand. Gabriel Alonso, senior product manager de Adam Hall Integrated Systems, explains in this video interview the main features of the version.

In Barcelona Fair demonstrations of the version were possible 1.3 from the Questra design and management software platform. Thus it was possible to see how it allows link third party solutions to control and automate network-based installation solutions; in addition to facilitating the configuration and management of audio technology, lighting and video.

“We are making a very big leap in the characteristics of this tool. We are adding third party control. And that means we can control equipment over the network.”.

In the demos carried out it was possible to see how audio equipment could be controlled, video and lighting, controlling external room lights. “It allows us to create very simple user panels where we have buttons to provide scenes that manage all those third-party equipment”.

This expansion of Questra functions has been achieved thanks to a new centralized system architecture and the use of nodes.

Los logical nodes allow programming by modules, automation by time and support many more integration possibilities, as well as fluid management of integrated teams.
Questra allows access to all the DSP capabilities of LD Systems audio installation devices, allowing you to set up audio networks of any size and manage and control each device from a single application.

The most innovative in audio

The second big news, has come hand in hand with the series of altavoces LD Systems DQOR, including its own subwoofer models for indoor and outdoor installations.

This range has three new subgraves, two for outside, passive one (DQOR SUB 8) and another active Dante with IP55 (DQOR SUB 8D). “This is very important to expand those installations in restaurants where you need subwoofers in additional areas”, says Gabriel Alonso.

The indoor model (DQOR SUB 8A) Includes speaker outputs to make systems like 2.1 all in one, where up to two speakers can be connected per side so that packages can be made where the subwoofer is plus four speakers.

This equipment is made with a robust aluminum casing that makes it ideal for outdoor use.. It has a compact size and has a mounting bracket for both surface and ceiling. It is very easy to use and allows you to place the subwoofer on the wall. You can some 40 degrees to make connections without having to hold the equipment. Facilitates cable management and once finished it closes, it crashes and no longer moves.
