LG visually transforms Barcelona with the first large format outdoor LED screen

The technology LED Outdoor of LG Electronics It has been shining for a few months outside the IMAX building in Port Vell in Barcelona, that welcomed America’s Cup Experience, to deliver a dynamic viewing experience of more than 200 m² of surface area which represents a milestone in the transformation of its urban landscape, when it comes to the first and only outdoor Led screen in the city.
Developed by LG on the occasion of the 37th edition of the America’s Cup and one of the innovations that the company has shown during its recent participation in WHEREAS 2025, This spectacular large-format outdoor LED professional screen shows content around this legendary sailing competition., while opening new possibilities for visual communication with passersby in public space.
Visual experience in the urban environment
This project, which materialized precisely in the edition 2024 from ISE in Barcelona, has not only provided a new high definition digital experience to sailing fans, con detailed information to follow the excitement of the teams participants in America’s Cup, but citizens and tourists of this city they have integrated as part of the landscape urban in which it is located.

An innovative 'window to Barcelona'
