Elation KL Core IP: Led source resistant to any weather

Designed for professional productions, Elation Professional has designed this solution to function as an ellipsoidal light, Fresnel or Moonlight. Its colour rendering, Reliability and flexibility make it an ideal equipment for both indoors and outdoors.

Elation has announced the launch of KL Core IP, the newest addition to its KL series (Key Light) of Led luminaires. Designed to withstand the demands of today's environments, dynamic and with high light demand, is a configurable Led source with transmission quality that can be adapted as an ellipsoidal light, Fresnel or monolight.

KL Core IP is suitable for outdoor applications thanks to its robust design with IP65 rating, ensuring durability in various weather conditions. With studio-quality lighting, Stand out on outdoor cinema sets, Television studios, Theatres and live productions.

Versatile design meets the demands of on-camera production, providing precise, high-performance light that adapts to a wide range of lighting setups. Its colour rendering, Reliability and remarkable flexibility make it a suitable solution for both indoors and outdoors.

Lighting and flexibility

The KL Core IP is based on a RGBMA Led Motor of 400 W High Performance, capable of producing more than 15.000 Lumens. Its high-quality light source makes it perfect for a wide range of lighting installations.

For Ellipsoidal applications, the luminaire can be combined with an optional shutter cylinder and used with any of the IP67 sealed lens tubes and function as a traditional LED ellipsoidal. The design is also compatible with most shutter cylinder assemblies from other manufacturers, allowing for integration with existing configurations.

To further extend your flexibility, an optional Fresnel lens transforms the device into a Fresnel with zoom, while an optional Bowens KL Core IP mount allows it to function as Monolight or lamp head for use with softboxes, Lanterns, open-face reflectors or other beam modifiers, making it ideal for TV/film and broadcast applications.

This luminaire comes equipped with a Color temperature adjustment Fully variable of 16 Bit (2400K – 8500K), along with dimming-to-warm emulation and redshift for that classic incandescent glow. With CMY emulation, green/magenta change and a virtual gel library, accessing vibrant LED colors and pre-mixed tones is very easy.

The adaptability of the KL Core IP extends to its ease of use. With its touch bar encoder for autonomous and easy operation, the integration of Aria x2 wireless management and configuration, NFC installation and control, Lighting designers working in various environments are facilitated.

IP65-rated housing protects the luminaire from water, dust and other environmental factors, Ensuring reliable performance, even in the most adverse outdoor conditions. Its robust construction is designed to withstand the demands of film sets and outdoor stages, while keeping it clean and dust-free for long-term indoor installations.
