Giada F109D: digital signage player for long-term use

Concept International has launched this embedded player in Spain Giada, con Intel Integrated Twin Lake and compatible with 4K display, designed to respond to the demands of installations in public spaces.

The value-added hardware manufacturer and distributor Concept International Spain has announced the launch in Spain of the Giada F109D digital signage player, a compact device in format booksize designed to operate uninterrupted 24/7.

It is especially suitable for integrating into totems, interactive kiosks, self-service terminals or behind screens in public spaces.

The F109D stands out for its fanless design, its high performance with Intel Twin Lake processors new generation and its energy efficiency, allowing you to operate without maintenance, even in hot or dusty environments, such as behind panels or walls. Besides, its aluminum heatsink has won 5 mm to ensure more effective passive cooling, without compromising its compact size (189,6×148,3×32 mm).

Thanks to the new generation of Twin Lake processors, offers more power and efficiency. The new QuadCore N150 and N250 processors are available, as well as the Core 3 N350 and N355 with eight efficiency cores (E-colors) and speeds up to 3,9 GHz. DDR5 memory integration significantly accelerates graphics performance, very suitable for advanced multimedia applications.

Up to three displays in 4K/60Hz

The F109D can power up to three displays simultaneously in 4K/UHD resolution at 60 Hz, via two HDMI outputs and one DisplayPort. Unlike other similar models that only offer two digital outputs, This capability expands the possibilities in digital signage projects.

Regarding connectivity, includes six USB ports (2 x USB 3.2 Gen2 and 4 x USB 2.0), two RJ45 Ethernet and two COM serial interfaces. It also has audio input and output, and a SIM slot for 3G/4G connectivity in remote or difficult to access locations.

An additional advantage is the possibility of separating internal and external networks thanks to its two network interfaces, minimizing cybersecurity risks and data leaks.
The device is compatible with Windows 11 IoT Enterprise y Linux Ubuntu 64-bit.
