Christie boosts Xpark's digital ocean experience with its ProAV equipment
The new exhibition Xpark meets Naked – Ocean of light: immersive ocean of the Xpark aquarium of Taipei (Taiwan) has projection and multimedia playback solutions from Christie, as part of the fifth anniversary celebrations of this facility.
Created by the renowned Japanese creative firm Naked, the new sample offered by the Xpark aquarium to your visitors, which opened its doors to the public last 28 June, is driven by twenty-two 1DLP laser projectors from the manufacturer Christie and solutions content management.
As part of the aquarium's fifth anniversary celebrations, the exhibition Xpark meets Naked – Ocean of light: immersive ocean offers a multisensory journey to visitors, in which Real marine life meets digital art from the series Naked Ocean, transforming the ocean into a living canvas that invites contemplation and wonder.
Thanks to the Christie teams, visitors enjoy surround projections, interactive experiences and a careful visual narrative, where nature meets, creativity and technology.
The Taiwanese firm Dacoms Technology, partner de Christie, has carried out the projection design and the integration of the audiovisual system of the exhibition, which is configured with fifteen 1DLP laser equipment from the manufacturer, with models from the series Inspire DWU960ST-iS with short range and zoom lenses, y GS DWU880-GS.
Added to this audiovisual display with Christie technology are also six Pandoras Box servers of the brand, that are used for Real-time playback and content processing.

One of the most outstanding technological and creative elements are the large format projections on curved walls, that immerse the visitor in vibrant marine settings, full of luz, sound and movement.
With this new installation, Christie expands its presence at the Xpark aquarium, where more than sixty projectors, including models GS y Captiva, as well as twenty Pandoras Box servers, Compact Players y Widget Designer.
“The public can enter dynamic marine environments and discover the richness of ocean ecosystems,” explains Lee.. This exhibition, conceived as a proposal for edutainment immersive, goes beyond the visual spectacle: search raise awareness about the diversity of the ocean and its challenges conservation, involving all the visitor's senses”.

The exhibition Ocean of light: immersive ocean marks the first major collaboration between Xpark and Naked after the success of the temporary exhibition Xpark – sea of light Jellyfish which took place in January 2025. This second stage involves a renovation of almost 70% of the interior areas of the aquarium, with digital installations designed to maximize interaction and impact on visitors.
