RED UFV

Considered the first universal guidance system on a university campus in Madrid, RED UFV is an inclusive tool that facilitates orientation with visual and auditory indications in more than 30 languages. Based on Navilens technology, improves autonomy, safety and accessibility.

The Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV) has launched RED UFV, a pioneering project in accessibility and mobility that turns its campus into the first in Madrid with a universal guided system using technology Navilens.

Thanks to this initiative, students, teachers, staff and visitors can move more autonomously, safe and efficient, con visual and auditory cues in up 30 languages. The system even allows you to configure accessible routes, adjust reading speed and customize information volume.

Navilens codes are integrated with main campus services: study rooms, restoration areas, sports areas, nursing, bus stops, quiet areas and meeting points in case of emergency. They also mark key elements such as defibrillators or construction areas., offering useful information immediately.

RED UFV not only avoids loss of time and improves safety, but also reinforces the university's commitment to inclusion, technological innovation and continuous improvement of the university experience.

The project has been financed by the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumption and Agenda 2030 and developed in collaboration with the IRSST-UFV Chair I+D+i, driven by the Regional Institute of Safety and Health at Work of the Community of Madrid, that has contributed research activities, training and innovation in occupational risk prevention and inclusion.
